The 7 Suspended Valleys trail is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Algarve, being done entirely along the coast, which will allow you to enjoy incredible views and points of interest such as the iconic Benagil cave.

This trail is located between Praia de Vale Centianes and Praia da Marinha, is about 6 kms long (12 kms round trip to the starting point), and has a medium degree of difficulty, as it requires some resistance and physical dexterity, especially for going up and down in some parts of the route, which are a little more demanding.

You can choose any of the places as a starting point, both have a car park where you can leave your car. Alternatively, to cover just the 6 km of the route, you can take a taxi or ride to the chosen starting point and do the same when you reach the end.

You will pass through the 7 valleys that give it its name, almost all with a beach or close to one (in the summer it invites you to stop for a refreshing dip) and observe several incredible rock formations.

If you choose the round trip route, you can include a picnic during the experience, in one of the many scenarios that this route offers you.

For the more adventurous, this route can be done by mountain bike, but be prepared to carry the bike on your back on some of the climbs of the route, as they are only possible to do on foot due to the rough and steep terrain.
